Founded in 2013, Seattle-based workshop ab2c strives to create functional beauty that is timeless, honoring the past while projecting a better future. We believe combining specific issues of client needs, site conditions, and regional histories, with global issues of ecology, building technology, and construction methods makes for the most successful project. We design intuitively, at our best when creating complete environments— structures, interiors and landscapes. We are committed to listening closely to our clients’ aspirations, and work to build their dream with comprehensive design and well choreographed construction.

AARON BUSH

Aaron has been designing residential and small commercial projects for ten years, with a focus on reimagining and remodeling existing buildings. With the belief that architecture is built thought (Lerup), thinking deeply about a problem is his first step in designing an elegant solution. He received his Masters of Architecture from Rice University after working as a carpenter and metal fabricator for over a decade. When not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, being outside, and building things with his hands.

Prior to receiving her Masters of Fine Arts, Cat worked for two of the world’s largest auction houses. Her own art has been exhibited at institutions including Portland Art Museum, Boise Art Museum, Dallas Contemporary, and The Henry Art Gallery. When not working in the design or art studio, she enjoys gardening, skiing, watching spy movies, and exploring the outdoors with her family.
